I love this car. Love love love. It’s everything I hoped it would be.
Despite this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that majorly bummed me out and threatened to take my joy away completely, it has been great overall. And yes, I’m still bummed about the snafu. (What a fun word.)
The tech it has is pretty neat, the car is gorgeous, and it drives like a dream. <3 Quiet, smooth, quick (way quicker than 184 HP would suggest), and comfy. And, an infant seat will fit in the back !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Speaking of that, my wife and I are going to start trying for a kid in January. Eek.
I still miss Lil’ Red, but time will heal that. I hope. :-)

If they ever make a new Mazdaspeed6 with AWD and a fancy new turbocharged Skyactiv engine, that’ll be my next car.
The interior and exterior are already 10/10’s in my book for the market this car competes in.

Absolutely lovely car, wish they had been in my price range a few months ago. That blue is perfect.
I’m glad life is going well for you by the way. Good luck come January.

This bad beast is on the short list if I ever grenade my 3. Would be great for someone like me who drives for work a lot. Glad to see that it’s loved!

I’m glad the purchase was a success! That’s always such a relief for us Jalops.

I'm so glad you like it. I really want a 3/6, but until Mazda makes one with AWD and a sub-6sec quarter mile, the wife won't have it... :|

Refresh improves it a lot. Love the new interior! Nice car.

The car seat is the easy thing to stow, its all the other crap that eats space and strollers are the worst offenders that I have encountered so far.

On the kid - I’ve found it way easier than everyone makes it out to be. The toughest part is not having enough time to do what you want to do. Congrats on the car and the growing family!

Keep dreaming. We’ll never have street cars that can hit a sub-six-second quarter mile.

Lovely car.
Are you aware of the actual meaning of SNAFU?

Yes. Chaos! :-O
I sort of used it to emphasize how small the situation was and how much I was overreacting. At least I recognize that I am OCD. :-/

Yeah, hyperbole and all that.
Just wasn’t sure if you were pulling a Corporal Upham.

Everyone I’ve talked to that’s a non-car person claims this looks like a BMW or a Jaguar or some other “expensive” car. They’re often surprised to learn it’s a Mazda. I love the way it looks, that's for sure.

Strollers do seem to be huge. This car does have a shockingly big trunk, though!

That seems to be a common theme in the Mazda6 reviews that I’ve read. People unfamiliar with the brand think it’s some kind of exotic luxury vehicle.

I also highly recommend a pad l ike this one to place under the car seat (or car seat base) to protect the seat material. My JSW has a black interior so I picked one of those up in black and so far no indentations in my back seat even though the base has been installed for most of the past year.
